This set of patches can be used in DSDT Editor or (preferably) MaciASL to applysome common patches to your laptop for running OS X. These patches are commonfor Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge laptops.

Many of these patches came from work on the HP ProBook patches and/or work on myown Intel DH67GD desktop.
The DSDT (Differentiated System Description Table) is the main table in the ACPI part of a computer's BIOS. The Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) defines a large number of tables that provide the interface between an ACPI-compliant operating system and system firmware. Windows Binary Tools. The Windows versions of the various tools are zipped in a single file that is available here: iASL compiler and Windows ACPI tools (ZIP 3.0 MB) Major tools and utilities: iASL - ACPI Source Language Compiler, ACPI Table Compiler, and AML Disassembler.
Many of the battery patches were created over time, published as individual postsby me on tonymacx86.com, and collected here in this repository.
